Fed holidays close Fedwire and FedACH, so USD funding of foreign payout partners by wire stops; FedNow and RTP keep running but only between US institutions that have joined them, and many banks cap or do not offer them for business accounts. The FedACH holiday processing table on the Fed page currently covers 2026 only; 2027 processing times are not yet published, though the 2027 holiday dates are. Note the Fedwire Funds Service November 2026 release has been rescheduled to November 2027, in line with Swift's delay of its November 2026 standards release (removal of the unstructured postal address format).
