Bitso Business: balances, prefunding and reporting
Bitso Business is the B2B arm of Bitso: a multi-currency account that holds USD, EUR, BRL, COP, MXN, ARS and stablecoins, with local pay-ins and payouts over SPEI, Pix, ACH, SWIFT and SEPA and stablecoin rails for cross-border settlement in Latin America. Clients fund the account through local rails, wires or on-chain deposits and track balances through the GET /balance/ API method with a View balances key permission, funding and withdrawal webhooks, and dashboard exports in CSV or PDF.
What Bitso Business does
- In December 2025, Bitso Business said it was on track to process 82 billion USD in annualised total payment volume in 2025, for 1,900 institutional clients that include remittance providers, marketplaces and fintechs. source
- The Multi-Currency Account holds, sends and receives US dollars, euros, Brazilian reais, Colombian pesos, Mexican pesos, Argentine pesos and crypto, including the stablecoins USDC, USDT, MXNB and BRL1, over SWIFT, SEPA, Pix, SPEI or on-chain. source
- MXNB is a 1:1 Mexican peso-backed stablecoin issued by Juno, a Bitso company, minted via SPEI and redeemable back to MXN. source
Coverage
- Bitso Business offers local pay-ins and payouts in six countries through one integration, using rails including Pix, SPEI and ACH, plus one-time payments in Mexico. source
- Fiat deposits are supported in ARS (through a CVU), BRL (through Pix), COP, MXN and USD; USD wires mint USD stablecoins 1:1. source
- Besides Ethereum, USDC withdrawals are supported on Polygon, Stellar and Solana through the API. source
How funds are held and prefunded
- With the Multi-CLABE API, a business creates CLABEs assigned one-to-one to its users; deposits into them credit the business account balance, and they cannot be used for withdrawals. MXN withdrawals use the account's default Main or International CLABE. source
- For treasury clients such as money transmitters, Bitso Business lists Post-Trade Settlement (PTS) and credit lines as ways to reduce or eliminate prefunding requirements. source

How do I read my Bitso Business balance by API?
Call the v3 GET /balance/ method with a key that has the View balances permission. It returns total, locked and available amounts for every currency.
Can I give each customer their own Mexican deposit reference?
Yes. The Multi-CLABE API creates CLABEs assigned one-to-one to your users, and deposits into them credit your account balance.
Does Bitso Business always need prefunding?
Not always. Bitso Business lists Post-Trade Settlement (PTS) and credit lines as ways to reduce or eliminate prefunding requirements.
