Launching payments in Dominican Republic: the stack
Paying out in the Dominican Republic means crediting pesos or US dollars to accounts at banks and electronic payment entities, or paying cash and home delivery through Junta Monetaria-authorised remittance agents, with the BCRD's Pagos al Instante service running 07:00 to 23:00 every day and ACH transfers clearing on business days. Cross-border senders typically pay through a remittance agent or paying bank such as Vimenca, Caribe Express, Banco Popular or Banreservas, or a payout API such as dLocal, Nium or Localpayment, and price against the BCRD reference rate formed by banks and exchange agents.
