Why this matters for prefunding

What to watch
Türkiye has no public holidays in November or December 2026. Highest-risk window: the Feast of Sacrifice, from the half-day eve on Saturday 15 May to Wednesday 19 May 2027, so EFT closes after Friday 14 May and reopens on Thursday 20 May. The Ramadan Feast runs from a half day on Monday 8 March (EFT closes at 13:00) to Thursday 11 March. The religious holiday dates come from the Diyanet calendar published in advance. The weekend is Saturday and Sunday. FAST runs 24/7 for Turkish lira transfers up to TRY 300,000 each (from 26 August 2026), so payouts below that limit continue over the feasts while EFT is closed.
